Nike Air Jordan VIII (8)

Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan VIII (8) in the 1992-93 NBA Season.

Capturing his first threepeat, MJ is at the wheel and the rest of the league is along for the ride. The Air Jordan VIII reflects this all-out philosophy with a design approach that can only be called radical. Anti-inversion straps, a polycarbonate torsion plate, ultra-bold colors and a Jumpman basically made of carpet ensure that these high-performance kicks will not soon be forgotten.

Jordan brings it, tying the league scoring record with his seventh consecutive title (32.6 ppg) and, for good measure, becoming the steals leader for third time (2.81 spg). Standout performances include 54 points against LA, 57 versus Washington, and 64 against Orlando. He also reaches a milestone, scoring the 20,000 point of his career. Chicago notches its fourth consecutive 50-win season as MJ earns a seventh straight First Team and sixth straight First Team All-Defensive appointment.

His 30 point All-Star Game performance, gives him the highest All-Star average (22.1) in history.

Chicago bullies its way into the post season, taking down Atlanta and Cleveland without a loss. In the Conference Final, they rise from a 2-0 deficit to take four straight against New York. Michael, the Finals MVP, averages a record 41.0 ppg against Phoenix to make the threepeat championship a reality.
